Notorious: In Free fall

The LACK of promotional activity from @TheSaturdays is hitting Notorious, and BADLY. Early chart sales for this week already have it down at number 23, at this rate by the time the promotional activity hits up again around the time of the physical release the song will be way out of the charts.

As the group aren’t doing much promo at present its up to us – the fans – to keep the promo up, the ONLY sales source at present is on iTunes and other digital download sites, so make sure you get everyone buying it! Also contact your local (and national) radio stations and make sure they keep playing the song!!

Notorious: Opening Week

The @TheSaturdays new single, Notorious has entered the UK charts at number 8. This means Notorious charted higher than both Ego (Number 9) and Higher (Number 10). Notorious becomes the girls 9th Top 10 single (from 10 releases!) Higher had a 20 week chart run, lets see if Notorious can do better than this!
At least it held onto a Top 10 spot after a rather dramatic fall from number 5 on iTunes earlier in the week. Remember its up to us – the members of teamsats – to keep the song up high so when the single, and hopefully more promo, comes about in the coming weeks we can get the single up the charts even higher! Remember the song is out on iTunes NOW make sure you get everyone buying a copy!!

On Set With …

Another @TheSaturdays program for you to all enjoy 🙂 This is On Set With … or in other words; Making The Video: Notorious

In this new video, we are taken behind the scenes and on set with the girls as they film their new music video for the hot new single Notorious – remember to buy and keep promoting, we need the single high on iTunes when the physical is out in several weeks – hopefully the girls will actually do some more promo! *fingers crossed*

[Updated] Headlines Live!

@TheSaturdays Headlines Live! finally aired on TV, although it is on Channel4 NEXT Sunday – 5th June at 11.25am (ish) this is the Smash Hits airing from yesterday, we’ll replace it with a higher quality one next week:

Update: I’ve managed to get around the shortcomings of the TiVo box, to bring an updated version of the concert which is the proper size and scale. Apparently VirginMedia (my cable company) are aware of the issue and are trying to fix it with software updates. We will still post a higher quality version when it airs next weekend.

Can you spot yourself in the audience? Tho they’ve seemingly removed the live references to “London” – check the Higher pre-order on iTunes with Notorious to the version aired on this show ….

The songs they played are:
1. Higher
2. Puppet
3. Issues
4. Just Can’t Get Enough
5. Forever Is Over
6. Ego

An additional note is that Notorious has dropped to number 14 on iTunes now (it was as high as number 5 on Tuesday – so thats a bit of a slip – so keep promoting the single everyone!

Rochelle: No Saturdays Movie Yet

@TheSaturdays Rochelle Wiseman was talking about The Saturdays Movie …..

Rochelle Wiseman has said there are no plans for a Saturdays film yet.

With the JLS documentary-film Eyes Wide Open about to be released, the Saturdays singer – who is dating band member Marvin Humes – insisted the girl group hasn’t been inspired by them.

“I don’t think anyone wants to see us in 3D just yet – it’s a bit much! We’ll leave it with the guys and their nice, trained torsos,” she said at the premiere of Eyes Wide Open in London.

“I have to get in the gym before anyone can see me in 3D,” she added.

Rochelle, who has already seen the JLS film, said fans would be satisfied with the end result.

“It’s a really good film. I think it’s really nice for fans to see their journey and where they are now. I see him everyday so I don’t think it’s any different, but it’s nice for everyone to see,” she continued.

The Saturdays chat to Sugarscape

@TheSaturdays give an Interview to Sugarscape about Notorious and more!

Sugarscape sat down for a chat with The Saturdays last week to talk about their new single Notorious (which is bangin’ by the way, have a listen here if you’ve been living under a rock for the past week) and the girls we learned a lot about the girls.

First we learned that Frankie Sandford has AMAZING shoes. Well all the girls did actually but they were the first thing our shoe crazed minds honed in on when we entered the room. They were Louboutins, we could tell by the red sole we don’t miss a trick, and they were fabulously chunky and high.

Secondly we learned from the other girls that Mollie King would make a crap beauty therapist. She seems to do alright on her own face.

Thirdly we learned that Una Healy loves a cheesy chat up line and is a brilliant matchmaker. Don’t let us stop you from setting us up with one of your boyfriend’s Rugby mates then, we’re more than happy to be your guinea pig.

And finally we learned that Frankie can munch away on a Mars bar and drink full fat Coca Cola and still have that stomach. We started the same regime on Monday, if it works for Frankers…

We so want to be a Saturday! Unfortunately we don’t think they’re going to take us up on our offer to play swapsies for the day. The boys in the office are going to be so sad.

The Saturdays single Notorious is available to download on iTunes now so get downloading and let the dancing commence!

Are you a fan of The Saturdays new song? Who’s your favourite Saturday? What’s the best chat-up line you’ve ever heard?
