Vanessa White

This is news about 1/5 of The Saturdays, Vanessa White.

Vanessa: ‘I’m calling it a day’

On the eve of our 9th Birthday .. 9 years wow .. Vanessa has spoken to the Metro Newspaper, not sure if this has been taken out of context with the wider picture, but they are reporting.

The 27-year-old insisted she was ‘mentally’ finished as she posed with grey hair to tease new solo music.

‘I don’t think I could go back. I’ve got so much that I want to do. There’s no space mentally for me to go back,’ said Vanessa, posing for Rankin’s Hunger TV to plug her second solo EP, Chapter Two.

‘As time goes on, I know it just wouldn’t feel right for me. This feels natural,’ she added.

The remaining four pop babes have previously insisted they are still together, despite a four-year gap for some of them to have babies.

Vanessa‘s second EP – Chapter Two – is available to buy/stream from today.

Vanessa White – Chapter One EP – Out Now!!

Today is another day to add to our calendars, it marks the first official release (after The Saturdays) that a member has a full EP available to buy.

Vanessa’s Chapter One EP is now available to buy on iTunes (and other digital stores) for £2.49!

This is hot off the back of news of her debut show which takes place at the London club Cargo on Wednesday 16th March. Obviously as this is a club its 18+ only, tickets are available from TicketWeb from £7.95 + Fees

At time of posting (8.50am) on Friday – so around 9 hours after release – Vanessa’s EP was number 75 on iTunes UK. We will keep an eye on this thought the week.

Update: I should have made it clear that as this is an EP, priced under £3.50 and only has 4 tracks it won’t officially enter any UK chart this coming week. The only way it can chart is if individual songs sell enough to chart on the singles chart.

Vanessa gets Nostalgic

Last night the latest song from Vanessa premiered on Apple’s Radio Station Beats1. Nostalgia is the third song that Vanessa has released and an accompanying music vide will be released today.

At the same time Vanessa is releasing an EP, the Chapter One EP is available to pre-order on iTunes now which contains all the singles released up to now and a final 4th song, Lipstick Kisses. The EP is expected to be released on 19th February making Vanessa the first member to release an Extended Play officially.

Mollie hits the Studio, Vanessa sadly doesn’t want to be our lover

Hi All,

Not too much is really happening, still …

Mollie has been in LA recording, seemingly with Producer J Que Smith. Who you might ask? He’s was part of the production team ‘The Clutch’ and has written/produced songs such as Usher’s ‘Yeah!’ Britney Spear’s ‘Radar’ and ‘Freakshow’, Beyonce’s ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ and Ariana Grande ‘Baby I’ … interesting times ahead.

Vanessa has dropped her new song ‘Don’t Wanna Be Your Lover’ via Wonderland Magazine, continuing down the same vibe as Relationship Goals, its a cool laid-back RnB number that probably wouldn’t be too out of place on a few albums recently released, you can listen to it below!

‘Relationship Goals’ – Music Video

Here’s an music video for Vanessa’s buzz single, ‘Relationship Goals’, directed by our very own Aaron Renfree .. last weekend!

Enjoy!

We will be making a decision/update/thought about the future of this site in the coming months, as I posted previously keeping up to date with potentially FIVE solo careers is going to take up more time than I have, but I have no intention of throwing the towel in. If you think you can help us out, please e-mail me at [email protected] with any ideas/suggestions.

Vanessa goes solo, 2016 calendar dropped

Vanessa: “We’re testing the waters a bit and seeing what’s out there,”

Members still continue to deny that The Saturdays are over,  but today was the first sign that a reunion is a long way off. Vanessa has become the first member to release solo music, speaking to Schon Magazine:

“I don’t think being in The Saturdays has held me back, I’ve always been a fan of that type of music anyway. It’s just kind of perfect timing now because I feel like I’ve grown as an artist. If it wasn’t for all the experiences I had with the group I wouldn’t be in this place now, so I’m so really grateful for all of it.”

Vanessa has confirmed everything will heat up in 2016, but to tease fans a new song, ‘Relationship Goals’ has been posted online:

We’ve also had confirmation that The Saturdays 2016 calendar has been cancelled.

Happy Birthday Vanessa!!

It’s October 30th, which despite being Halloween-Eve it’s also someone’s Birthday!

A huge happy Birthday to the lovely Vanessa from everyone here at The Saturdays Fansite. We hope you have a wonderful and enjoyable day!

Get Ready, Get Set

Hey all! It’s Thursday, and we aren’t much closer to hearing about a tour, or the full promo schedule for Not Giving Up.

Latest from NGU, is that the song will still not be playlisted by Radio 1 next week, they did add Neon Jungle, so those who like a good conspiracy theory can go crazy. In all fairness its not stopped 5SOS heading to number one this week – they’ve had no support from Radio 1 either!

The girls are set to appear on Sunday Brunch (yay?!) on April 6th, although they aren’t down as a performer … so as of now we have confirmed TV of Lorraine on the 4th and Sunday Brunch on the 6th. The TV guides are moving up into Wednesday of the release week now, and nothing else (yet) has been confirmed.

The official (Cahill) remix video for Not Giving Up has premiered, you can catch that below!

Last night Vanessa attended an event to celebrate 25years of the Magnum Ice Cream! Sounds delicious, there is a couple of pictures of Vanessa below.
