Mollie’s Birthday Book 2015 – Official Fundraiser!

MolleFundRaiser2015
Hot off the heels of the 2014 Fundraiser for Mollie – which raised £550 for Dyslexia Action! Plus not to mention the amazing £1000+ for Vanessa’s birthday book we now roll into 2015 and it’s that time again!

Mollie’s birthday book preparations are in full swing, and if you want to get involved (of course you do!) you can find all the details over on the official birthday book twitter @molliekingbday

We are here to bring attention to the new Fundraiser, for 2015 we are looking to raise a silly amount of money for The British Heart Foundation! Mollie is obviously a key ambassador for The BHF and we feel this is a great charity for everyone to donate towards.

The British Heart Foundation are the UK’s number one heart charity and through 50 years of funding cutting edge research we have already made a big difference to people’s lives.

So how do you get involved? It’s REALLY simple. Simply head over to the official JustGiving website and leave your donation online (and your message!) you can also simply grab your telephone and TEXT the word MKBF87 (amount) to 70071 so to donate £10 simply text MKBF87 £10 to 70071.

100% of your donations go to The British Heart Foundation – we, or anyone else involved with Mollie’s birthday book do not benefit in any shape or form from your donations!

As reported previously Mollie is lending her support to the British Heart Foundation’s ‘Roll Out The Red’ 2015 campaign.

Mollie says: “I’m honoured to be hosting the Roll out the Red Ball in aid of the British Heart Foundation. It is such a fantastic charity which is very close to my heart. My grandfather sadly died of heart disease.

“The BHF has already made vital discoveries in the prevention and treatment of heart and circulatory conditions but there is still so much work to be done.

“Guests attending the ball will be raising funds which will go directly into life saving heart research. The evening promises to be one to remember!”

Entertainment on the night will include a performance by a very special guest comedian, music and dancing, as well as an auction packed full of money-can’t-buy experiences and luxury items.

Tickets for the event start from £200, all money goes straight to the British Heart Foundation.

Ramp Up The Red!

Have to admit wearing Red isn’t all that bad now 😉

Mollie is joining up with the British Heart Foundation to ‘Ramp Up The Red’

Mollie explains, “I’m so excited to be supporting the BHF on 7 February by Ramping up the Red and joining the fight against the UK’s single biggest killer, coronary heart disease.

“By organising a Ramp up the Red party with friends, families and colleagues, you will be raising funds that will go directly towards vital research, support and care to help mums, dads, grandparents or babies born with heart problems.

“It’s so easy to organise and you’ll be helping the BHF to continue to fund life-saving heart research in the UK to help everybody who suffers from a heart problem. It is a cause that is particularly important to me, as my grandfather sadly passed away after suffering a heart attack when I was younger.”

So on 7th February grab your reds and Ramp Up The Red!!

In other news, Rochelle has tweeted today that the group (finally) are getting back together after the Xmas break – have they had a month off?! Either way hopefully we will get movement on the next single and tour announcement (which I’m personally expecting within the next month or so anyway – alongside a single announcement) shortly.

Mollie fronts National Heart Month

As previously reported Mollie is fronting the British National Heart Month this February, and some pictures have now appeared, Mollie is looking lovely!

She’s the blonde bombshell with a big heart so it’s no surprise to see Mollie King has given her time for a good cause.

The Saturdays singer has signed up as the face of The British Heart Foundation’s latest campaign for National Heart month.

The 25-year-old singer has shown off her sizzling shape in a series of red dresses for a photo shoot to launch the campaign.

The blonde bombshell said she is ‘thrilled’ to be supporting the campaign.

She said: ‘If there is one thing you must do to show your support rock up in red on the first of February I really hope everyone will be joining me in the fight against heart disease. Anything goes as long as it’s red.’

Mollie is asking fans to donate £2 to Rock Up In Red and join the fight against heart disease on 1 February 2013.
