[Updated – videos!] The Saturdays confirmed for Oxegen 2011

@TheSaturdays have been confirmed to be playing at the Oxegen 2011 Festival, which takes place on Sunday 10th July.

This years festival takes place Punchestown Racecourse in Co. Kildare, Ireland.

You may remember they were at this festival a couple of years ago in 2009, performing Beggin’, Chasing Lights and Issues acoustically, enjoy these performances below as a little treat for you!

Single Confirmed: Notorious

Apparently the Industry Music Magazine Music Week has confirmed that the @TheSaturdays new single is Notorious and is due to be be released on 30th May which co-incidentally seems to be the week most schools are off for the half-term in the summer term.

Mollie tweets about todays recording session

For those who aren’t aware, Rami Yacob is a songwriter/producer who worked alongside Britney Spears in her early days, and is co-responsible for songs such as Baby One More Time, Oops! I Did It Again and Overprotected. Along with songs from the Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion, and even  The Wanted.

Carl Falk (and Rami) recently produced the number one single from Nicole Scherzinger, Don’t Hold Your Breath.
