The girls to appear with Girls Aloud on farewell tour?

The media seems to be reporting that @thesaturdays alongside a bunch of other girls are set to appear with Girls Aloud on their – maybe – farewell tour – at London’s Wembley Stadium next year, the report below is from Digital Spy:

Girls Aloud are reportedly planning a reunion farewell tour to mark their tenth anniversary next year.
The band want to complete a three-week jaunt of the UK, ending with a huge show at Wembley Stadium featuring some of the biggest female artists as support acts, according to the Daily Star Sunday.
Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle are also looking at other possibilities including an ITV2 behind-the-scenes documentary, an ITV1 Audience With… show and a new greatest hits album featuring fresh tracks.
The news comes after the band’s manager Hilary Shaw announced in April that all five girls will perform together next year.
“The early talk is a short three-week tour towards the end of the year, finishing at Wembley,” a source said.
“The Wembley Stadium idea is to get a few of the hottest girlbands and female performers like Leona Lewis, The Saturdays and Alexandra Burke on board and bill it as Ladies’ Night, with them headlining.
“It would be a good way for the band to pretty much say goodbye – maybe forever. If it doesn’t come off fans will definitely get the chance to see all five singing together again.”
Previous reports have indicated that Girls Aloud will record new material in January, while Cole, Walsh and Roberts have all expressed an interest in marking the band’s tenth year in the industry.
It has also been reported that they are being lined up to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

The Saturdays star is hoping to be BFFs with Queen B…

The Saturdays star Una Healy has spoken exclusively to MTV News about her pregnancy, confessing her bundle of joy is due around the same time as Beyoncé’s baby.

As we previously reported, the All Fired Up singer confirmed last week that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend, rugby player Ben Foden, stating they are “over the moon” at the prospect of becoming parents.

We caught up with Una and the rest of the girls at the Arthurs Day celebrations in Dublin, where Healy admitted her baby is due on bandmate Rochelle’s birthday, as well as close to when Queen B’s first tot will enter the world.

When asked about her mini Saturday, the 29-year old told us: “Yeah, he’s in there! No one believes me because I’m not showing yet. Actually, the baby is due on Rochelle’s birthday.”

Rochelle interrupted: “Yeah, the baby is due on my birthday, so don’t you think that he or she should be called Rochelle or if it’s a boy, just Rocket or something…?!”

Speaking of being due the same time as Bey, Una revealed: “She’s a month older than me as well. I thought she was about to be a mum ahead of me, so we’re kind of having babies around the same time in our lives…so I was like: Oh, she might be a BFF.”

As for the rest of The Saturdays chipping in to help babysit once the sixth Saturday arrives, the girls claimed they are “fighting each other” for the job!

All Fired Up remains Top 5

@thesaturdays got a little chart boost this week when the latest single, All Fired Up, remains inside the Top 5, dropping down to number 5. Sadly since then the song has dropped a lot on iTunes and is presently outside the Top 10, so if you haven’t bought it, or want to buy it again, or get others to buy it now is a good of a time as any, and lets see if we can keep the song inside the Top 10 for a 3rd week!
