Frankie to ‘return soon’

We don’t have any ‘additional information’ that we can really share about this, but to keep everyone up-to-date the groups spokesperson has confirmed that Frankie will return to the group as soon as she has recovered. The group’s spokesperson has been reported in the media as saying:

“She will be back with The Saturdays soon, when she is fully recovered.”

We know a lot of fans are worried about the constant speculation about the group splitting and Frankie not returning to the group etc. This is all media talk, please don’t get too upset and worried about it. As soon as we hear something we can officially report we will do so as we don’t really want to get into the habit of sharing gossip and unconfirmed reports.

Rochelle Wiseman told Digital Spy: “No, we’re not splitting. Frankie’s not very well and you can’t even have a flu or a runny nose before people start saying you’ve left the group.”

Mollie King added: “The thing is, as soon as you’ve been around for a certain amount of time those rumours are always going to start.”

Una Healy concluded: “In any other job if somebody had a few days when they were sick, nobody would say they’ve left. What are you supposed to do? You can’t come to work if you’re ill.”

In:Demand Dance also looking for support acts

Following on from the previous post where you can win the chance to support The Saturdays at their show in Manchester, it seems Bauer Media is doing the same for the Glasgow show:

In:Demand’s Romeo, has teamed up with The Saturdays to offer one lucky listener a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform as a support act for The Saturdays at their forthcoming Glasgow gig at the SECC in December.

The lucky listener will live and breathe the pop star lifestyle for the day and perform a song of their choice on stage to 10,000 people at the SECC in Glasgow on December 13, 2011.

The winner will get the full pop star treatment with their own dressing room complete with hair and make-up artist to finish off their celebrity look, whilst rubbing shoulders backstage with their new celebrity friends, The Saturdays.

Budding artists who think they have star quality should submit a recorded cover song to be judged by The Saturdays ‘artist and repertoire guru’, Jordan Jay and In:Demand’s Romeo.

All entries must be submitted via MP3 or YouTube link at www.indemandscotland.co.uk by Friday, October 28.

A shortlist of five acts will be announced on Friday, November 4.  It’s then up to the public to vote on the website www.indemandscotland.co.uk for their favourite act with voting opening on Monday, November 7.
