Second Rhyl Pavilion date for girl band

GIRL band The Saturdays have added a second Rhyl date to their tour.

The first gig sold out so fast that another concert – on February 2 – has been added.

Fans queued overnight for the chance to snap up tickets.

It follows the success of ticket sales for X Factor winner and Dancing on Ice star Alexandra Burke, who also added on an extra date at Rhyl.

The Saturdays’ tour is called Headlines, after their chart-topping album.

Tickets go on sale for the Rhyl date this Friday.

Singer Rochelle said: “We couldn’t be more excited for the tour. Performing live is our favourite part of being in The Saturdays, and we can’t wait to see all our fans!”

The extra date was welcomed by the Pavilion, said a spokesman. He added: “This is also great news for Rhyl, two nights for Alexandra Burke and now two nights for The Saturdays in the space of a couple of weeks.”

Tickets on sale on Friday from 10am on 01745 330000 or in person.
