The Saturdays get festive in Bristol

Last night The Saturdays got festive in Bristol as they turned on the Christmas Lights at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway. (Yes I know its only early November!)

The Saturdays then began to fulfil their fans’ needs, starting with the well known song ‘Notorious’. They urged the crowd to dance along to keep the crowd warm from the cold. The Saturdays then continued with both recent and older songs such as ‘Higher’, ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’, ‘Ego’, ‘Up’, ‘Forever Is Over’, ‘Issues’, ‘All Fired Up’, ‘Disco Love’ and finishing with their first no. 1, ‘What About Us’. The Saturdays also treated one special fan by singing Happy Birthday, after seeing from a banner it was a female fan’s birthday. The girls accompanied some great songs with some great dance routines!

There’s a video on the ITV West Country website, (which is blocked for me at work so I can’t see what it is) but here’s a link to the article.

The Saturdays turn on Oxford Street Lights

Mollie, Rochelle, Vanessa and Una were greeted by huge crowds on the famous shopping street, although Frankie was still absent from the line-up.

After the big switch on, the girls delighted fans with a performance of their new single ‘My Heart Takes Over’.

In a message on Twitter earlier in the day, Mollie said: “Sooo excited to be turning on Oxford Street’s lights!!! Are u coming down to party? Xx”

‘My Heart Takes Over’ is the latest single to be taken from The Saturdays‘ new album ‘On Your Radar’, which is due to be released later this month (November).

The girl group are currently giving fans the chance to preview their new record via their official website.

Christmas Lights & Halloween

@thesaturdays hit Oxford Street and the shoppers this evening as the girls switch on the famous Oxford Street Christmas Lights, the event is due to start at 5pm outside Marks & Spencers .. so afterwards you can pop in and pick up some food as well! Hopefully Frankie will rejoin the girls this afternoon as everyone is missing her!

The girls promo for ‘My Heart Takes Over’ and ‘On Your Radar’ should hopefully pick up soon (it is awfully quiet at present – or is that just me?) The dancers have also started their rehersals for the ‘All Fired Up’ tour which is only a month away … how excited is everyone for that?!

We got a competition coming soon – details shortly – probably one for our female visitors tho! Plus we got another Interview coming up soon as well!

Hope you all had a good Halloween, here’s a ‘scary’ looking Rochelle to start your Tuesday off with a bang!
