Summer Shows – 2014!

There is also an East-Coast Live taking place in Ipswich on Saturday 28th June, same lineup which includes our girls.

Got any plans for June 2014? Well if you do and live in the North East or South West, you might want to replan …

The Saturdays have been confirmed to be part of two big summer shows, South West Live! and North East Live! will both have performances from our girls.

South West Live! takes place at Weston-Super-Mare Beach (T4 At The Beach anyone) on Sunday 29th June 2014, and includes performances from The Saturdays,  The Vamps, Jessie J, Union J and Jason Durelo.

North West Live! takes place at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on Sunday 22nd June, with the same line-up as above.

More acts are to be confirmed, tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.  Tickets for Sunderland are Reserved seats are priced at £25 and £45, unreserved seats and pitch standing is £35, with Golden Circle £60.

No pricing has been made available for the beach, although I doubt they will be seats!

Mollie Models!

Last night our very own Mollie stepped onto the catwalk as she modelled items from the Odabash Macdonald collection at the ME Hotel last night. We’ve added a few of the pictures from the media below, hopefully more will appear and we can add them to our gallery – keep an eye on our twitter feed for the gallery update information 🙂 Mollie was looking great as she modelled the items which no doubt aren’t cheap!

Just to end the item, yesterday a mailer shot was sent out, about the mailer, and various things that could be sold via their official site, there is also a section detailing where you get your Sats fix of news. If we are your first stop for news, then please name us in the ‘other’ section. There is no personal gain for us from you doing so, it would just be nice to be mentioned in the survey if we are your first stop for news/video/pictures anything Saturdays online. We thank you again for the support since 2008! 🙂

Remember that our girls are playing a handful of headlining shows in August, tickets are still available so please get yourselves down there and say hi to us too! The girls are playing Bluewater in Kent on August 10th and Scarborough, North Yorkshire on August 23rd – if you can make it then get your tickets now (You can still get decent ones for Kent if you act now! – There are sadly still over 1500 tickets available too :/) – remember the girls are the only main act so we should get a full hour+ concert, you’ve probably not seen the girls do a full set since the All Fired Up Tour in 2011, so if you can get along please buy those tickets 🙂

Usual reminder that Gentleman is released THIS SUNDAY. If you want the awesome b-side Wildfire you need to PRE-ORDER it now on CD or via iTunes. Last night the Gentleman EP was around number 200 on iTunes (It’s currently around 221), we really need to push it a tad higher before the weekend. So please make sure you pre-order it 🙂

Bits and bobs

Hey all! Hope everyone is well! 🙂

Just a couple of news items. Yesterday we fixed an outstanding issue with our gallery and added a bunch of new pictures from recent events, so please make sure you pop over and take a look – if you notice any other issues with the gallery please get in touch 🙂

One for those going to Scarborough, due to ‘scheduling conflicts’ the girls show there is now taking place a day earlier, on FRIDAY 23rd August. If you already have a ticket then your ticket is still valid for the show, if you cannot make it (of course you can, you might bump into us!) then you can go back to where you bought your ticket for a refund. If you still want to go there are tons of tickets over at Ticketmaster so get buying, and we will see you there (Some tickets are in Row A too!!)

The girls are also performing at London’s G-A-Y on the 23rd March, wristbands must be bought to gain entry and are available at the London club for £4.

Awesome, the girls are seemingly giving us a taste of summer right now. I presume they will only be performing as a 4 piece, but our calls are being answered team sats! The girls have confirmed another summer show this morning, at the Scarbrough Open Air Theatre on August 24th. So right now the girls are performing at:

– Bord Gáis Energy Theatre – Dublin, Ireland 28th March 2013
– Grand National Opening Day – Aintree, Liverpool 4th April 2013
– Newmarket Racecourse –  Newmarket, Suffolk Saturday 8th June 2013
– Scarborough Open Air Theatre – Scarborough, North Yorkshire Saturday 24th August 2013

We will no doubt be at a couple of these (and more if they add more!) so hopefully will see some of you there! These events the girls are named headliners or co-headliners so will put on a fuller show (60mins+) rather than just 3 or 4 songs and leave 🙂

Festivals across the summer months are still being announced, including major radio events such as the Summertime Ball. Hopefully the girls will be making an apperance at some of these too! 🙂

Concert Round-Up

The girls did two shows over this weekend gone, in Birmingham and Ireland of course, the media is full of reports from both shows. As those on twitter will know, and the previous post, we where in Birmingham and managed to make sure Mollie got her birthday book alongside Rosie and Claire, we’ve posted a few pictures on our twitter and facebook accounts so check them out there!

The Daily Mail reports on the show in Birmingham ” ‘One of the best shows ever’ The Saturdays wow as they take to the stage at Birmingham Pride 2012″ there’s also a bunch of pictures from this show in the gallery. More coverage from Birmingham via The Juice

Spin SouthWest report on the girls gig in Thurles on Sunday, including posting a couple of videos! Check out the girls new summer tour outfits!

Here’s a video from the girls from the IN:Demand concert a few weeks ago:

In other news it seems Rochelle and Marvin are set to get married in the rather swanky Blenheim Palace
