Disco Love Live on Paul O’Grady

This afternoon The Saturdays went into their ‘long dresses’ wardrobe and performed Disco Love on the first episode of the new series of The Paul O’Grady Show. As always you can catch this performance below.

The girls where also added today to Free Radio Birmingham’s Free Radio Live 2013, sadly the event is basically sold out (unless you want to stand), this is in addition to their shows in Scotland and Leeds this festive season.

Disco Love on Stepping Out

Here it is, the moment you’ve (and I’ve) been waiting for, its the first performance of Disco Love, on the ITV1 show Stepping Out.

As always tell us what you thought of it via twitter @TheSatsCoUk, please also refrain from downloading this and reuploading it to your own accounts, there are plenty of video links and methods to use, and it’s even on our own YouTube account for you to watch it there! (Sorry Youtube have blocked it, and its a worldwide block!) If you do embed the video please link back to us www.the-saturdays.co.uk

Ben and Una on Mr & Mrs

Hey all! Sorry for the lack of updates recently, not only is it a tad quiet as the girls are on holiday (again) but I’ve also had a Uni deadline to meet for today so been busy doing that, but that part is now submitted so on with the news …

Ben and Una appeared on the ITV1 game show Mr & Mrs the other weekend (you probably know the result!) but as there has been demand for this, I’ve uploaded their appearance on the show below, please enjoy 🙂

Remember if you are missing the girls, they are playing Bluewater, Kent in a matter of weeks, tickets are still available to go grab yourself some!

Surprise Surprise!

Update:
To answer questions we’ve had …

– There is NO age limit (fans can be of any age)
– When you contact ITV they will contact you back with ADDITIONAL information about your nomination, the procedure and if you have any questions about your nomination (or if they have any) they can contact you etc.
– The nominees (e.g. you, if you are nominating say your sister) need to explain WHY the person they are nominating deserves the surprise. Be it doing a lot of work in the community, helping others etc. This isn’t a ‘voting’ system. The decisions on who should be surprised lie with the production team at ITV. It doesn’t matter if someone gets 10000 nominations or just a single one. It’s not a popularity contest, decisions are made by the production team.
The show is still in PRE-PRODUCTION e.g. stuff has still not been finalised. Anything can change at any time.
Please note that your application will include the name, age, address and picture of the person you are nominating. So someone you barely know online cannot be nominated unless they are willing to supply you personal information, in that case its not really a ‘surprise’ is it?

If you have further questions you would like us to ask ITV please tweet or DM us at @TheSatsCoUk and we will ask on your behalf. No matter how silly (or deep) the question is, we will ask it!

Original Post:

Not too sure our younger visitors will remember this TV show, but ITV are bringing back the TV show Surprise! Surprise! and they are looking out for fans of The Saturdays! The new show is set to be hosted by Holly Willoughby, We’ve been sent the following, this is the press-release from ITV:

We are looking for the UK’s biggest fans. Nominate any super fans of bands that you know of and be in on the surprise. No idea is too big for us and no one is off limits. When thinking of ideas the bigger the better… Do you want One Direction to come over for dinner? What about a trip on the London Eye with a personal concert from Justin Bieber? Want to go shopping with The Saturdays. We have some of the biggest names on board and looking for the fans to give the surprise of a lifetime, whatever you can dream we can do.

We are offering super fans around the country these incredible once in a life time opportunities. Please make sure that you give an amazing reason on why you are nominating them and why you think they are worthy. Do they help out in the community? Do they spend all their time looking after someone and never have time for themselves? Are their bedroom walls plastered with the likes of Olly Murs, Gary Barlow or any other celebrities.

If you know someone who should be nominated please e-mail [email protected] for an application form! Applications close 26th October.

Loose Women – 18th November

@thesaturdays kicked off their marathon TV this Friday by appearing on ITV’s Loose Women this lunchtime, you can catch the videos below:

My Heart Takes Over

Interview

It’s a busy day, the girls are also on CBBC at 6pm (This was recorded in the summer) plus they are on Children In Need this evening at around 11.30pm. Tomorrow is the Album Chart Show special, the AWESOME new album ‘On Your Radar’ is out NOW in Ireland and out in the UK very soon. The current single ‘My Heart Takes Over’ is OUT NOW so make sure you buy that too!

The girls hit the X-Factor (?)

@TheSaturdays are set to perform on the X-Factor on November 20th .. sharing the show with Rihanna according to reports in the media.

Global superstar Rihanna will be making her annual performance on The X Factor later this month, it has been claimed. The ‘Only Girl’ hitmaker will be singing her latest track alongside The Saturdays on the November 20 results show.

It’ll be the first time the girl group have performed on the show, singing new single My Heart Takes Over and prompting their arena tour this winter, XFactor Updates reports.

We can’t wait to see Una and her baby bump, but we’re not sure about Frankie’s live singing (The Saturday’s member and X Factor contestant!)

Meanwhile Rihanna will no doubt be putting on another raunchy performance after her ‘What’s My Name’ during last year’s final caused hundreds of complaints.

Edit: Please note we are mearly re-reporting what TellyMix are saying. ITV haven’t (yet) totally confirmed the show for the 19th/20th November as they are still hyping up this weekends show with Lady GaGa. When ITV release their press statement for the show 19th/20th we can totally confirm what is or what isn’t happening.
