New Single

Mollie on Radio 1, new single

Mollie appeared on BBC Radio 1 yesterday, on this show she confirmed that a new single is due to be released in May – so not long to wait – so I’d imagine the tour DVD and the Channel 4 documentary and any other promotional materials will be released around the same time. More as we get additional information.

Videoshoot tweets

Una, Rochelle and Mollie tweeted some interesting news..

unahealy: My legs are tired after all the dancing today!! have the legs up, TV on, cuppa tea, aaahhhh, this is the life!! x

RochelleTheSats: Day 2 of rehearsing for our video! It’s looking good guys..

MollieTheSats: Dancing dancing and more dancing!!! Videooo practise!

This means the girls are working hard on their videoshoot! A member on our forum told us the new single is available July 26th and is called “Missing You”. But until we have more sources I’m not 100% sure if it’s not just a rumour.

Saturdays gear up for new single

The Saturdays

The Saturdays are gearing up to release a brand new single this summer.

The group, whose last single ‘Ego’ was released last year, are still keeping details of the song a secret but promise that an official release date will be announced “very soon”.

To whet fans’ appetites, band member Mollie King wrote: “To all the lovely Saturdays fans, keep your diaries free of plans, ‘cos this summer is going to be lots of fun, help us get to NUMBER ONE!!!!!!”

Meanwhile, bandmate Frankie Sandford currently features on the new Kids In Glass Houses track, ‘Undercover Lover’, which is released on June 14.

The Saturdays Turn Superheroes!

Mollie King from The Saturdays says the band felt like they were acting in their new music video “Ego”.

Their latest single is out in early January and features the girlband dressed as superheroes.

At the premiere of Avatar in London on Thursday, Mollie explained about her character: ”My power was storm. It’s so much fun dressing up. It was really cool and fun.”

The band each wear fairly revealing outfits, which Mollie says is fine. The only time she has an issue is if they are asked to wear something that does not fit her style.

The 22-year-old said: “I’m not really into playsuits and things like that and sometimes we have to go with the group, so we have to wear stuff like that, but I don’t really enjoy those.”

The Saturdays next single “Ego” is out on January 4.
