Mollie on Radio 1, Album finished

Hey all! Hope all is good in your world right now.

Mollie was on BBC Radio 1 this morning doing ‘Call or Delete’, as I’m still away from home I might not be able to get it online, although I will do my best, keep an eye on the twitter account for updates 🙂 but I’m sure those in the UK will be able to listen to it again from the BBC Radio 1 Website later this morning. Seems the Disco Love promo continues, despite its late release date, just hope radio doesn’t pick it up too early and everyone is bored of it come 6th October.

Talking release dates, the girls official twitter tweeted last night:

For those who dropped their tea just there this means the album has been mastered and its ready to be printed (or sent to iTunes). This would suggest that maybe the rumoured release date of the album of being a week after the single is true. It’s all finally coming everyone 🙂

Mollie Surgery, Royal Appointment and Frankie!

Last night our very own Mollie dropped into The Surgery on Radio 1 to offer help and advice, you can catch the show below:

Mollie was captured leaving Radio 1 last night in the brightest orange jacket you could possibly think of, as it shines against the gloomy London skyline! I’ve added a few pictures of Mollie below, our gallery will be updated later with some HQs of Mollie leaving Radio 1, so check back later, and our Twitter account for when they are added!

The girls had a royal appointment last week, as they attended the opening of the Marie Curie Cancer Care Hospice in Solihull. You might recall that a year (or so) ago the girls where there laying the first brick of the building of the hospice, so they where invited back last week to attend the full opening of the event – along side the future king of the United Kingdom, Prince Charles. Also in attendance was Una’s other half, Ben! I’ve added a few pictures below of the girls below.

Also in other news Frankie has been in the South of France for some relaxing R&R, we do have to say here on the site that she is looking rather radiant and healthy from the pictures posted, you can check out them below 🙂

Also, not that anyone needed reminding, Gentleman, is released in under a week, remember to pre-order NOW to get Wildfire as a b-side. So far the girls aren’t listed on many TV shows, just Lets Do Lunch with Gio & Mel on ITV1, 12.30pm, on July 3rd. I’ll keep checking the TV Guide and hope that more come on, or their official team tell us soon 🙂 Obviously any videos will be on the site 🙂

Big Weekend, Frankie goes shopping

Hey all! Hope those in the UK enjoyed the long weekend, all back to work today, in which – in typical UK style – seems to be the last nice weather day for a few days!

As we all sit and wait to hear when Gentleman will get its UK radio premiere, the girls have been added to this years ‘BBC Radio 1’ big weekend. The girls are set to perform on the Saturday (of course!) , this year the event takes place in Derry, Londonderry between 24th-26th May. The event has no tickets left, as the majorty of tickets are ballotted to local residents. But don’t panic the entire weekend is going to be shown across the BBC, on TV, radio and of course online. We will also have the girls performances on the site too 🙂

Below I’ve added some pictures from the news of her shopping for wedding dresses the other day!

What About Us – UK Premiere

TheSats-Radio1-290113

This morning our lovely girls appeared on the Radio 1 Breakfast show to premiere their new single ‘What About Us’ featuring Sean Paul. The girls also chatted about their new TV series, and Vanessa decided it would be a good time to spout out an inappropriate word live on air .. only Vanessa 😉

I managed to record some of the live webstream of the girls (a couple of technical issues meant I missed the start) if BBC put up the entire video I will obviously replace it accordingly 🙂

UK remember you can PRE-ORDER the new single ‘What About Us’ on iTunes NOW and grab yourself a signed copy via the Universal Store

According to various radio stations online the girls are doing a ‘radio day’ in London today so I expect a raft of UK media and press updates coming soon.

In other news, Rochelle has been shopping for baby clothes – according to the DailyMail – and apparently for girls clothes. Check out some pictures below.

Chasing The Saturdays Episode 3, Radio 1 ..

Hey all! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Firstly first, @TheSaturdays will be on BBC Radio 1 TOMORROW (Tuesday) from 6.30am. I assume this is to officially premiere the UK version of What About Us with Sean Paul. A premiere date of around this time makes sense as its around 6 weeks before the actual release date, hopefully the video will be following shortly.

Those in North America can rejoice! The Chasing The Saturdays EP is now available to grab digitally on iTunes. I know a lot of US Fans will already have the songs, but it is of high importance that everyone in the US does download it, I mean its only $4.99, and it support the girls! So spread the word and get buying!

We’re gonna have #SatsOnTheBeach … Episode 3 of Chasing The Saturdays aired on E! (USA) last night, apparently Canada got Episode 2 and Episode 1 airs in the UK THIS Sunday (keeping up?) Here’s the official youtube breakdown of the episode with the girls.

Talking Chasing The Saturdays and the UK, if you are in the UK do an iTunes search for ‘Chasing The Saturdays’ and a link does appear, so it looks like we will be able to purchase the show here. Obviously we will find out more a week or so today! As per our stance (ever since day 1) if a show/song is available to legally buy somewhere we won’t put it on the site. Support our girls and buy the show (when it becomes available) 🙂

The girls also say that the only thing they have in common with the Kardashian’s is that they are on the same TV Network!

Rochelle Humes, 23, has spoken out about the comparison, claiming that the girl’s reality show will be focused on their music.

She said: “We aren’t the new Kardashians – we’re nothing like them. We love their show, but what do they do? We’ve performed professionally for years.”

“People used to call us ‘the new Girls Aloud’, and we have worked with them and they are lovely, but if we are the new anything then ‘the new Spice Girls’ gets us more excited.”
