The Saturdays will headline their first tour this summer.

The girl band are set to travel round the UK in June to coincide with the release of a new single.

Band member Una Healy said: “I can’t believe we are about to go out on our first very own tour. We hadn’t even released our debut single this time last year and nobody knew us. So many great things have happened and we can’t wait to go out and perform on our own headline tour.”

The tour will kick off in Oxford before travelling to Nottingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge, Bristol, Reading, Southend, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Southampton, London, Brighton and Sheffield.

In the past nine months, The Saturdays have had four top 10 singles and a top 10 album. Their current single, Just Can’t Get Enough is out now in aid of Comic Relief. Tickets go on sale Friday March 6.

Meanwhile, Rydian Roberts has revealed he is an admirer of the girls.

“I’m kind of a fan of The Saturdays they are quite easy on the eye I guess – but they are also really good and they go from strength to strength,” he said.
