In what is (the expected) quite time for the group it’s nice to see the members out and about a bit. Hopefully once Vanessa and Mollie return from holiday and the girls gear up for their summer shows, more will be known of the next single. CapitalFM announced their summertime ball lineup yesterday, sadly the girls aren’t there this year, so their only summer shows remain the UKLive Series of concerts and the Leicester Music Festival, so a limited summer line up this year.
Last night BT Sport hosted their Sport Industry Awards, and Una attended (with Ben obviously!) I’ve added a couple of pictures below, hopefully more will arrive shortly!
The update this morning comes to you, with everything you have been waiting for!
The Saturdays are releasing their new album, a Greatest Hits album, on 11th August – with THREE brand new songs! But that’s not all, the girls will be taking the new album on tour, hitting a venue very close to you in September, including a headlining night at London’s Wembley Arena.
The Greatest Hits package will also be available in a ‘fan edition’ which will only be available via the Universal Store, this will include a DVD of all the girls music videos, as well as the album.
The tour will have VIP packages like last time. Which gives you a Meet & Greet with the girl, a tote bag, tour programme, VIP laminate and obviously the best seats in the house! VIP tickets are £90+ Fees across the UK apart from London which they are £92+ fees.
“We can’t wait to get out on the road and showcase our journey so far! This is not the end, just a milestone along the way.”
Frankie Sandford
The Saturdays today announced that they will release a smash hit filled ‘Greatest Hits’ on August 11th before taking the album on tour around the country, including a date at London’s Wembley Arena.
Bucking the trend by releasing the collection whilst at the height of their career, fans can look forward to finally getting all the hits on one album. This is far from a farewell and more of a celebration with the band planning to return to the studio later on in the year to start recording their fifth studio album.
Featuring thirteen Top Ten singles, the ‘Greatest Hits’ is a celebration of a successful and enduring pop career the band have enjoyed since they first debuted in 2008 with ‘If This Is Love’. The album will include three brand new tracks alongside fan favourites such as ‘Higher’, ‘All Fired Up’, ‘Ego’, ‘Up’ and the chart topping ‘What About Us’.
From September the 7th, The Saturdays will take their new album on the road, performing to their fans in cities across the UK, kicking off in Glasgow then visiting Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff amongst others. The Saturdays are proud to present their ‘Greatest Hits Live!’ tour in partnership with Ultimate Blends, a new haircare range from Garnier that has been blended for Britain for gorgeous hair that is full of life.
Having now sold over five million records, with four top ten albums, The Saturdays continue to be a whirlwind force in the world of pop which shows no sign of slowing.

Firstly we start off with the news that our girls have got behind this years Marie Curie’s Daffodil Appeal! As you know the girls are long-term supporters of this great cause! You can catch this years appeal video below:
As you know Not Giving Up is out in under two weeks, and it seems the single mix has had a bit of a price-reduction on iTunes. You can now grab the single mix of the single for just 59p (It was 99p originally) so now its an even better bargain! So make sure you grab a copy, I mean it’s only 59p!
Yesterday it was confirmed that Mollie was again attending London Fashion Weekend (20-23rd Feburary) alongside Maybelline, but this time it’s not for a range of lipsticks, it’s for Foundation, the Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation, which is available in stores with a retail price of £8.99.
There are no confirmed details on what day(s) Mollie is at LFW, or what she is actually doing there yet. As soon as something is confirmed we will update you all, as you are aware I did attend the last one in the autumn, and it call it exciting would be incorrect, it’s not very large, and full of clothes you still can’t afford despite the discounts! But if you are a true fashion connoisseur it’s probably a great day out – I got lost after about 5mins if I’m being honest!
As you have probably noticed, we’ve given the site a minor refresh to celebrate the release of Not Giving Up in April! 😀
It’s also a big day for me today too as on a personal level, its the date of my second anniversary with my girlfriend Rosie. 🙂
As Ben Foden took to twitter this evening, Una didn’t want to feel left out! Nothing really groundbreaking was tweeted, apart from a question was asked – unsurprisingly – about the tour, to which Una replied that the tour is set to be announced when the next single ‘Not Giving Up’ is given a bit more official release date.
Nothing, again, too surprising here, but seemingly this would confirm that the shoot for this week was promotional pictures for the forthcoming tour, and dates are set to be announced as-and-when the single gets a more official release date.
Although it wasn’t a very early night for some as about 25mins later, both Mollie and Rochelle tweeted about their evenings.
Speculation is rife that it’s tour related, is that realistic? I understand why people say it’s for the tour, but we’ve been waiting for the ‘soon’ tour dates for months and months now and they’ve only just got around to planning a photo shoot for it?
Or is it just a bit of overhype for what is the single related photo shoot? Or an album re-release photo shoot?
In next months Cosmopolitan Magazine there is a feature with our very own Mollie. The magazine hits the shelves next week (I believe). But the main talking point is at the end of the article it says:
‘The Saturdays new single Not Giving Up is out in March.’
I’ll stick my head out and say the mailer tomorrow will confirm this, the girls has the fitting for the video yesterday, it is scheduled to be shot next week.
Update: Ok .. so the mailer said nothing. The flip hints the next single is ‘Leave A Light On’ … but Cosmo have PRINTED at the next single is ‘Not Giving Up’ surely they’ve not told a magazine (and therefore a bit of promo) one thing and doing something totally else … but then again this is The Saturdays. We will know more next week.
Last night Rochelle and Marvin hit London’s o2 Arena (no sadly not for a concert) but for the National Television Awards.
I believe she was there for This Morning rather than Sweat The Small Stuff, confusing I know, well I am at least!
Here are a few pictures of the couple on the Red Carpet!
