all fired up tour

4 Years ago … All Fired Up Tour

thesats_afut_4yearsago

As it’s all still rather quiet … Mollie continues to record, Vanessa churns out different variants of her songs, Una continues to record, whilst Rochelle and Frankie continue with their TV exploits I thought I’d throw us all back to times when we had a group to argue over. 4 years ago today, The Saturdays hit the Liverpool Echo Arena for their All Fired Up Tour, I was in attendance and recorded this video.

So please enjoy this video, and a few others on my channel if you are bored. Or indeed if you are still visiting the site, the demand for the group, and their solo careers has sadly really tapered off over the last few months and I’m not sure how many people truly still care. I get a feeling a lot have wander off to Little Mix these days who continue to add tour date after tour date to their upcoming tour!

News Bits: Mollie, All Fired Up Tour, What About Us

Hey all! Sorry for the lack of updates recently as those who follow us on twitter will know I spent the weekend in Sheffield, whilst catching the Steps Christmas show with my girlfriend. Really good fun pop show, would love to see The Saturdays doing a couple of fun filled smaller shows 🙂

Just a brief roundup as it’s looking increasingly likely that December is going to be a barron month with The Saturdays too, although I do hope that we will see the ‘What About Us’ music video shortly as if they are supposedly releasing it in January … unless of course they mean the song will be premiered in January and we will have to wait until Feb/March to get hold of it!

As you are all aware we are proud of all our efforts to help Mollie pick up the Dyslexia Action It’s Me Choice Award, and thanks to ALL your efforts Mollie picked up over 70% of the entire vote and won the award for the Second Year. This week’s flip takes you behind the scenes of the award show. We send out our huge congratulations to Mollie for winning this award again! A true inspirational dyslexic!

Also if you have been following us on twitter, and not living under a rock, it’s that scary time when we look back at a year ago and go ‘where has the time gone?!’ believe it or not it was a YEAR AGO when the All Fired Up Tour kicked off. We went to 4 nights last year, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Brighton and Wembley. Met a whole bunch of people, and had a good time. But seriously its been a year already?! If you have any tour memories drop us a tweet and we’ll RT you!

Talking about ‘What About Us’ and a huge thanks to everyone who e-mailed us about this. The song has actually entered a US chart. What About Us entered at number 44 (don’t giggle its a great start, they are unknown there remember!) in the US Dance/Club Songs. This chart is based on songs played at clubs in the US – the US chart is a bit more modern than the traditional UK based sales charts. Well done girls!

[Updated] All Fired Up At… Wembley Arena!!

Need to get this as a New Year’s promise or something to put a post up weekly for these flips! THIS week’s however – which is viewable on http://www.thesaturdays.co.uk/ – is a bit special as it includes Matt at some point! Those eagle eyed and aware of what he looks like might spot him, otherwise if you have been to the Wembley show you might spot yourselves as well!

I don’t want to completely embarrass him but 1 minute in you should be able to spot him… 😉

Update: seems they are finally uploading the flips to YouTube themselves again … Catch the flip below! 🙂

Seems the girls sponsorship of Makeup Products continues as Rimmel London is confirmed as a major sponsor of the forthcoming tour.

The Saturday’s added ‘We all love experimenting with make-up looks, so when we heard that Rimmel London will be sponsoring our tour we were really excited. We all have Rimmel London in our make-up bags so they seem like the perfect fit to have with us on the road’

Rimmel London will be present at all 13 concerts and in the programme and online will feature a recent shoot of the girls getting the London Look.

There will be joint competitions running as of mid November to win concert tickets, meet and greets with the band and goody bags containing all the products needed to ‘Get The Saturdays Look!’

The Saturdays will be featuring across Rimmel London’s official website and social networking sites – Facebook and Twitter.
