Rochelle: “Marv and I are boring”

The Saturdays singer says her and JLS Marvin Humes are homebodies but not ready for babies yet

The are one of the most successful couples in British pop, but Rochelle Wiseman doesn’t think her and Marvin are interesting at all.

“I’m a bit of a home girl at heart” said the singer “It’s so funny because when people say I’m in a ‘high profile relationship’, I don’t ever see it like that. It’s just Roch and Marv at home”.

Wiseman said she understands why people are interested in her romance with the JLS singer but that they are “pretty boring”.

Rochelle also said that The Saturdays are very excited about Una Healy’s pregnancy.

“It’s good practice for us (Rochelle and Marvin) because we are not ready for that yet, but we get to give the baby back when its nappy needs changing”.

Rochelle talks JLS engagement rumours

@rochellethesats talks to CapitalFM about Marvin and those engagement rumours …

With constant rumours that Rochelle from The Saturdays is about to get engaged to Marvin from JLS, Roch told Capitalfm.com she wanted to clear up those stories.

“Everyone that’s with their boyfriend in a serious relationship, if their boyfriend said lets get married, you know you’re not gonna be with them if you’re not, you know…” Rochelle told us.

And as for snooping around under the bed for engagement rings, Rochelle says that’s a total no-no.

“I always think it’s something you should never ask and  never talk about,” the ‘All Fired Up’ singer explained.

“When it happens it happens, and I don’t like to talk about it ’cause you can jinx stuff in life.

“When your other half, not just me I don’t wanna talk about myself, but your other half thinks it’s right and they want to propose to you they will do that.”

Mollie’s Birthday Party

Mollie King was joined by some of her popstar friends as she celebrated her birthday last night.

She took a large group of friends, including her Saturdays bandmates and members of boyband JLS, to Mahiki in Mayfair, London.

The birthday girl, who turned 24, looked great in a classy white number but it was bandmate Frankie Sandford who stood out like a sore thumb in a revealing black number.

While Mollie sported a white dress with ruffled detail on the lower half, hemmed in with a metallic gold belt and accessorised with a pair of tan coloured peep toe heels.

With the two ladies juxtaposed with another Mollie was the clear winner in the fashion stakes, looking demure and classy in comparison with her bandmate who perhaps should have covered up a little.

The Saturdays singer turned 24 yesterday and hit London club Mahiki with bandmates Rochelle Wiseman, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White.

Rochelle, 22, wore a figure-hugging black dress with black piping and Vanessa opted for a grey number.

JLS members Aston Merrygold and Rochelle’s boyfriend Marvin Humes, were also on hand to make sure celebrations went with a bang.

Rochelle held hands with her boyfriend as they exited Mahiki, in Mayfair, central London.

The two split late last year, but got back together and appear to be stronger than ever now they have reconciled.

The only member of The Saturdays missing from the equation was Una Healy, who had to miss out on the evening’s events due to a wedding.

She did however treat her bandmate to a pair of beige coloured heels, and also tweeted an apology.

Obviously over the moon with her gift, Mollie tweeted a picture of the platform heels with the caption: ‘I’ve just received the most amazing birthday present from @unahealy!!!! I’m a very lucky girl x’

Rochelle: No Saturdays Movie Yet

@TheSaturdays Rochelle Wiseman was talking about The Saturdays Movie …..

Rochelle Wiseman has said there are no plans for a Saturdays film yet.

With the JLS documentary-film Eyes Wide Open about to be released, the Saturdays singer – who is dating band member Marvin Humes – insisted the girl group hasn’t been inspired by them.

“I don’t think anyone wants to see us in 3D just yet – it’s a bit much! We’ll leave it with the guys and their nice, trained torsos,” she said at the premiere of Eyes Wide Open in London.

“I have to get in the gym before anyone can see me in 3D,” she added.

Rochelle, who has already seen the JLS film, said fans would be satisfied with the end result.

“It’s a really good film. I think it’s really nice for fans to see their journey and where they are now. I see him everyday so I don’t think it’s any different, but it’s nice for everyone to see,” she continued.

Notorious has dropped to Number 1o on iTunes 🙁 – make sure you keep promoting the single!!

Notorious Delayed? JLS seem to think its number one material …

It seems @TheSaturdays lead single might be going delayed a few weeks until June. Which – to us at least – isn’t too surprising. Most videos/songs debut 4-6 weeks ahead of their release to generate a buzz, there has been a recent trend in the UK for singles to be released as they premiere on radio, such as the recent releases from Britney Spears, Lady GaGa and Beyonce – of which all 3 singles have hardly done that well (to date) so maybe a delay is actually better for the group in this case. Either way JLS  seem to feel its potentially a number one …
According to Marvin from JLS The Saturdays are set to score the first ever No.1 single this summer

The girls are getting ready to comeback with new material and Rochelle‘s boyfriend Marvin has already heard their new single, Notorious.

“Me and JB went down to the shoot in LA a couple of weeks ago.” said Humes in an interview “The new single is wicked…I think this could possibly be the girls first No 1.

“The girls are releasing before us so we’re not going to have any boyfriend/girlfriend battles in the chart – no way”

All we know at this stage is that the track contains the lyrics “I’m an outlaw/ I’m the big boss/ I’m a gangster/ on the dance floor,” it reads. The single is written by Ina Wroldsen, who has previously worked with the group on ‘If This Is Love’ and ‘Up’,

Saturdays star Rochelle Wiseman chats to OK! about Marvin, X Factor 2010 and Nadine Coyle

Exclusive: The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman opens up about her first Christmas with Marvin Humes and who she’s voting for on The X Factor 2010

WE can’t say we’re not jealous of The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman – the girl has got it all!
As if being a fifth of The Saturdays isn’t enough, Rochelle Wiseman also gets to call JLS heartthrob Marvin Humes her boyfriend – and to top it all off, she’s absolutely stunning.

And as this week’s Facebook Friday prize is three pairs of tickets to see The Saturdays at the Kit Kat Senses Concert for a Cure in December, we thought we’d give Rochelle a quick call to find out about what else the girls are up to at the moment

She told us: “It’s been non-stop for the past few weeks actually…We have ten days off for Christmas and as soon as we get back from that we go straight into rehearsals and then we go on tour at the end of January.”

Phew, that’s an awful lot of work for five girls.

But Rochelle told us she’s looking forward to her time off with Marvin this Christmas, which will be the couple’s first Christmas together in their new house.

She said: “The whole family are coming for Christmas, Marvin and I are going to have it at our house this year so everyone is coming to us. It’s going to be really nice, I’m looking forward to it!”

And while we’re on the subject of Marvin, Rochelle says the pair are still ridiculously happy and aren’t letting all the excitement from the ‘outside’ get in the way of their romance.

She told us: “You kind of don’t think about it [being in the limelight]. We don’t know any different, ever since we met each other it’s just how it has been.

“We always make sure we take time to do stuff together, without everyone else there and everyone else gawping in. But it’s just normal for us.”

Sats and JLS to duet?

JLS have revealed they’d love to duet with girl-band The Saturdays on a new song if they were asked.
Speaking about a possible song, band member Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill said of the collaboration: “Will we see a JLS / Saturdays duet? Wow. I don’t know but we’d do it in a shot.
“We’d love to do a song with the girls. A Christmas number one maybe? Watch this space.”
