Rochelle: “Jessica Alba is hot!”

Sexy girlband member reveals her girl crush at premiere

Newly-single Rochelle Wiseman is about to break the hearts of lots of men, including JLS’s Marvin Humes, after confessing that her latest crush is actually another woman!

The Saturday’s singer, who was at the premiere of Valentine’s Day in London’s Leicester Square this week, let slip: ‘Jessica Alba is hot.’

Of course, the hunky male cast provide plenty of eye candy for Rochelle, too.

Aston Kutchner, Bradley Cooper, Patrick Dempsey and Eric Dane are all very easy on the eye – but Rochelle has the hots for one American star in particular.

‘Jamie Foxx is sooo gorgeous.’

Marvin Humes has a crush on Rochelle

JLS star Marvin Humes is the pop world’s hottest single male hunk right now.

But despite his legions of female fans, the Everybody In Love hunk has his sights firmly set on a sexy girlband singer.

Step forward newly single The Saturdays band member Rochelle Wiseman – who I’m told the six-packed man about town is infatuated with.

A source close to the pair tells me: “Marvin loves Rochelle’s personality and thinks she’s sexy as hell.

“They have known each other a long time and he has persuaded her to go out on a couple of dates.

“Rochelle thinks Marvin is a real charmer and is keen on him, but while she is loving the attention she is keeping him at arm’s length for the moment.

“She’s only recently single and had a tough break up – so she’s not prepared to commit to a full-on relationship right now.

“But they text and call each other a lot. Marvin has made his feelings clear that he’d love to get together with her.

“She is certainly encouraging him to pursue her and they plan to go out again soon – so watch this space.”

So ladies, breathe a sigh of relief. Marvin’s still available for you all – just about!
Meanwhile JLS are the band of the moment – and with three Brit Award nominations they could reach new dizzy heights in the pop stratosphere.

But let’s face it – they’re not The Beatles.

Yet when I caught up with band member JB at their Margate gig this week he told me: “People have said with our fans that it reminds them of Beatlemania – we just find it incredible that people have even included us in the same sentence as The Beatles.

“It’s early days yet – we’re just thrilled to be on our first live tour and we hope to win at the Brits.”

The lads are up against the likes of Kasabian and Muse for Best British Group. JB added: “We met the Kasabian boys and their kids are fans of ours!

“Two of our categories are voted for by the public. And our fans are amazing. Without them we’re nothing.” Indeed!

H&S signs The Saturdays!

Source: theBookSeller.com

Hodder & Stoughton has acquired book by platinum-selling pop group The Saturdays, on the back of success with titles by Girls Aloud and X-Factor runners up JLS.

Senior editor Fenella Bates signed world rights to the book via Robert Mackintosh and Jayne Collins at Maximum Artist Management. Hodder will publish in October 2010.

The Saturdays have sold more than 400,000 albums in their first year, and six top ten singles. The book will tell the individual stories of all five members of the band – Frankie, Vanessa, Una, Mollie and Rochelle – offering “personal insight into their lives before fame, life in the spotlight, their love interests and their strong friendships”. The title will also include fashion and beauty tips and backstage gossip.

Bates said: “We are thrilled to be working with The Saturdays. They are brilliant girls and brimming with ideas and enthusiasm for their book. It’s a young and vibrant addition to Hodder’s list and following the success of JLS and Girls Aloud, we’re hoping it will be the obvious gift for teenage girls next Christmas.”

Mackintosh and Collins applauded Bates’ “enthusiasm”, adding “the girls are very proud to be joining their elite list of artists”.

P.S. The girls want your help! They want to know what YOU want to see in the book, whether it be any unseen pictures, a chapter on a specific subject, such as maybe gossip from their ‘Work Tour 2009’. So if you want to tell them what you want to see in the book, then all you have to do is “tweet” them at their official twitter pages:
