TV Announced for Disco Love, Living For The Weekend

If anyone was expecting anything else here, then prepare to be disappointed, the girls TV promo for the forthcoming single, Disco Love, and album, Living For The Weekend have been confirmed, and yes its the usual … although saying that there isn’t much more they could do anyway. Maybe an Interview on BBC Breakfast might have been something different.  Also to add to this, Mollie is on Though The Keyhole on Saturday, although not direct promo, it’s still something. Radio is still to be confirmed, but I’d expect the usual big stations will be targeted.

Vanessa hosts The Show: Festival of Colour at Highcross

On Saturday our very own Vanessa took charge of The Show: Festival of Colour, at the Highcross Shopping Centre in Leicester!

As part of the centre’s fifth birthday celebrations, the fabulous fashion extravaganza attracted thousands of shoppers, all hoping to get a glimpse of Vanessa, as well as see this season’s hottest trends.

Bringing glamour to the centre, Vanessa was dressed to impress, wearing the ‘Brightwell’ black bodycon midi dress with mesh neckline from Reiss. Kicking off the event, Vanessa was on hand to introduce the show as well as welcome Leicester’s fashion fans at the centre.

Vanessa’s appearance at Highcross was part of the centre’s Autumn Fashion Fix, which saw fashion shows taking place throughout the weekend. On top of this, many of the retailers were offering amazing discounts and offers to Highcross’ shoppers.

Nicola Short, marketing manager at Highcross, comments: “We can’t believe how many people showed up to see Vanessa, Highcross was absolutely packed. The Autumn Fashion Fix weekend is the culmination of a wonderful month for Highcross; we really have celebrated our fifth birthday in style.

Living For The Weekend – Preview

Update:

Seems the youtube preview has been removed, again, but if you click on the iTunes link (see the links to the right of this post) you can preview each song from iTunes and obviously make sure you buy the album too!!

After what it seems was a bit of a false start, you can now ‘preview’ the new album Living For The Weekend:

Each song has (around) a 1min preview, so give it a listen and tell us what you think! Remember to pre-order the album from iTunes – links to the right, the standard album is only £6.99!! What’s your excuse?!

Rehearsals start!

According to various rumblings by the girls on twitter, the girls are finally heading into rehearsals for Disco Love today. The choreography was sorted out earlier in the week, so it’s time to put it all together! I still feel its sad that the girls didn’t perform this at the summer festivals, huge captive audiences, would have given the song a nice little boost.

I notice the song hasn’t actually been play-listed by BBC yet, although it is getting a lot of love from Capital right now. Hopefully the TV airplay will also step up a tad in the coming few weeks, the single is released in just three weeks! Hopefully decent TV promo is being lined up, would love to see them on a few more shows!

Chasing The Saturdays is up for an award, yes really! Mind Charity have listed it due to Frankie’s moment in the show where she opened up about her depression and anxiety.

Voting Opportunity! BBC Radio 1 has listed ‘What About Us’ in their ‘Ultimate A-List’ so pop over to the site and vote for the girls!

PopJustice has also listed ‘Gentleman’ for their 20 Quid Music Prize!

Mollie returned to Heathrow yesterday, after her (and Adam’s) quick visit to the South of France! I’ve added a few pictures below.

DIsco Love – LuvBug Radio Edit

It’s Friday, and therefore its Disco Love Remix Day, this time is the LuvBug Radio Edit:
