The girls did two shows over this weekend gone, in Birmingham and Ireland of course, the media is full of reports from both shows. As those on twitter will know, and the previous post, we where in Birmingham and managed to make sure Mollie got her birthday book alongside Rosie and Claire, we’ve posted a few pictures on our twitter and facebook accounts so check them out there!

The Daily Mail reports on the show in Birmingham ” ‘One of the best shows ever’ The Saturdays wow as they take to the stage at Birmingham Pride 2012″ there’s also a bunch of pictures from this show in the gallery. More coverage from Birmingham via The Juice

In other news it seems Rochelle and Marvin are set to get married in the rather swanky Blenheim Palace

The Saturdays play Thurles

Seems @TheSaturdays have another show lined up this summer. This time on Sunday 3rd June at the Thurles Greyhound Track. Tickets went on sale this morning at 9am and you can pick up your tickets via Ticketmaster, tickets are priced at €38.50. There is also a competition to win tickets via the local radio station Spin South West. This is a proper The Saturdays concert by the looks of things, they aren’t playing as part of a festival with lots of other acts. The girls are at present absent from a lot of the summer shows that have been announced, V Festival, Chester Rocks etc. Shows that they have appeared at in the past, and at present are currently headlining other events. Hopefully more will appear as we move into Spring.

Celebrity Diary by Una!

Una made an diary entry in Evening Herald‘s Celebrity Diary on 29 January.

Here is the article.

Last weekend got off to an exciting start for me, given that my boyfriend Ben Foden’s team were playing against Munster in the Heineken Cup.

He plays for Northampton and as I’m from Thurles, in the heart of Munster, it always makes for a tricky encounter!

It was quite tough for me seeing them compete against each other and one radio station did call me up and asked if I would go on and talk about it. But I didn’t want to upset anyone, so I said no. Of course, I’m 100pc loyal to my province and I’m very proud of where I’m from, but I’m also very in love and of course you want to see your boyfriend do well. I’m happy enough to sit on the fence and cheer on both teams.
