In other news, Frankie went to the gym (I know right!) and the Daily Mail got rather excited over her Parker iPhone case (see pictures below!) The Daily Mail also like Mollie’s hat plus Rochelle’s recent attire at Sweat.
Sorry for the lack of updates over the last few weeks, as you know I work at a school and it’s been Easter Half-Term. For those who don’t follow us on Twitter, you probably won’t know that I’ve been to a Backstreet Boys and Justin Timberlake concert, as well as meeting up with friends and having a bit of a break.
Sadly I return and not much has happened, Mollie and Vanessa are seemingly on (a month) holiday in the USA. Not Giving Up dropped to number 42 on it’s second week on the charts.
The tour is obviously on sale now (site will be updated with all the tour information in the next 24 hours or so, so keep an eye out for that!)
The site was 6 years old a couple of weeks ago, which is amazing, again a huge thanks to The Saturdays team, for everything, and this cheeky tweet:
Happy 6th birthday @TheSatsCoUk! One of the biggest and best Sats fansites there is, we appreciate you guys SO much! X
I will go though all the e-mails, and messages today, I have a few hundred to sort out, if anything important has happened I will create an update accordingly and tell everyone.
I will also re-edit the MTV Special (below) it’s way out of sync, which is annoying, as it took an age and a half to edit it initially, so I will get that updated, along with all the video pages over the next few days as well.
As per the mailer that went out this weekend, we are expecting a new single alongside further news on the Greatest Hits release in the coming month (or so), but until then it might be another one of those boring times as we all await the tour.
Continuing the promo trail, The Saturdays hit ITV’s Loose Women, again to have a brief chat with the hosts and to perform the new single Not Giving Up:
To celebrate our 6th birthday (who am I kidding đ ) The Saturdays appeared on ITV’s This Morning to have a quick chat and give us the first performance of Not Giving Up, you can catch this below:
The update this morning comes to you, with everything you have been waiting for!
The Saturdays are releasing their new album, a Greatest Hits album, on 11th August – with THREE brand new songs! But that’s not all, the girls will be taking the new album on tour, hitting a venue very close to you in September, including a headlining night at London’s Wembley Arena.
The Greatest Hits package will also be available in a ‘fan edition’ which will only be available via the Universal Store, this will include a DVD of all the girls music videos, as well as the album.
The tour will have VIP packages like last time. Which gives you a Meet & Greet with the girl, a tote bag, tour programme, VIP laminate and obviously the best seats in the house! VIP tickets are ÂŁ90+ Fees across the UK apart from London which they are ÂŁ92+ fees.
âWe canât wait to get out on the road and showcase our journey so far! This is not the end, just a milestone along the way.â
Frankie Sandford
The Saturdays today announced that they will release a smash hit filled âGreatest Hitsâ on August 11th before taking the album on tour around the country, including a date at Londonâs Wembley Arena.
Bucking the trend by releasing the collection whilst at the height of their career, fans can look forward to finally getting all the hits on one album. This is far from a farewell and more of a celebration with the band planning to return to the studio later on in the year to start recording their fifth studio album.
Featuring thirteen Top Ten singles, the âGreatest Hitsâ is a celebration of a successful and enduring pop career the band have enjoyed since they first debuted in 2008 with âIf This Is Loveâ. The album will include three brand new tracks alongside fan favourites such as âHigherâ, âAll Fired Upâ, âEgoâ, âUpâ and the chart topping âWhat About Usâ.
From September the 7th, The Saturdays will take their new album on the road, performing to their fans in cities across the UK, kicking off in Glasgow then visiting Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff amongst others. The Saturdays are proud to present their âGreatest Hits Live!â tour in partnership with Ultimate Blends, a new haircare range from Garnier that has been blended for Britain for gorgeous hair that is full of life.
Having now sold over five million records, with four top ten albums, The Saturdays continue to be a whirlwind force in the world of pop which shows no sign of slowing.

Hey all! It’s a brand new month, it’s April, but no April Fool’s here (seriously!) just a round up of what is going on.
The big thing is the tour talk, lots of so called tour posters floating around online, I’m lead to believe they are false, the tour is set to take place in September, and I do believe it is likely to be in theatres. I won’t second guess the dates, we will have them by Friday (at the latest) and hopefully an announcement will be sooner than that. We do expect tickets to be on sale next week. But more information as soon as it becomes official.
Mollie last night officially launched her new Oasis range. The new ‘Loved By Mollie’ range will hit your nearest Oasis store (and online) from next Monday – 7th April. Although with the tour also (probably) on sale that week you might need to decide what is more important đ
Rochelle had her birthday party this weekend past, although Mollie was absent, a lot of other famous friends attended. I’ve added a few pictures below if you’ve not see them yet. Everyone loves a Disney party right?
The Promo for Not Giving Up was announced at the weekend too, sadly only two performances. I will be posting an update on Friday regarding videos for the site. I’m not set to be home when the main promo is being done, I have two concerts on Saturday and Tuesday in Manchester, but will update you all on Friday.
Daybreak (Friday 4th April 14 – Interview) Saturday Night Takeaway (Sat 5th April – Interview) Sunday Brunch (Sunday 6th April – Interview) This Morning (Monday 7th April – Interview + Performance) Loose Women (Wednesday 9th April – Interview + Performance)
Remember ‘Not Giving Up’ is released digitally this Sunday at midnight! Pre-Order now using the links on the side.
As Ben Foden took to twitter this evening, Una didn’t want to feel left out! Nothing really groundbreaking was tweeted, apart from a question was asked – unsurprisingly – about the tour, to which Una replied that the tour is set to be announced when the next single ‘Not Giving Up’ is given a bit more official release date.
Nothing, again, too surprising here, but seemingly this would confirm that the shoot for this week was promotional pictures for the forthcoming tour, and dates are set to be announced as-and-when the single gets a more official release date.
We shall keep everyone updated.
