The Saturdays are Sexy Secretaries

The Saturdays Una Healy is getting men everywhere excited about their new single and video.

Notorious is out next week and the Irish star was more than happy to promote the single at the Pirates of the Caribbean premiere in London last night (Thursday 12.05)

“I’m so excited for it to come out, we’ve been over in L.A. shooting the video and it was recorded quite a while ago but its not going to come out until next week. We know people have heard snippets and we just can’t wait for people to hear the whole record, see the video and get out there and perform it.

“I’m not allowed to talk about the video too much but the pictures of us dressed as secretaries is a clue.” added Una.

Una also revealed that she jumped at the chance of attending the Pirates premiere “I’m really here to see Jonny Depp. He’s (boyfriend Ben Foden) fine with that, I’ve never got a chance in hell with Jonny Depp anyway so it’s alright”

But Una ruled out any role for her on The X-Factor in 2011, “Definitely not, no, I don’t have enough experience to judge people yet.”

Higher remains inside the UK Top 10 with sales from just today and tomorrow to count for Sunday’s chart. If you haven’t already done so pop into town and pick up the CD or download it from the usual places such as iTunes, 7Digital, HMV Digital, Amazon etc.

I still feel this would have been a bigger hit if it was released a couple of weeks ago! But another Top10 single looks like its on the cards for the girls 🙂

TV coming up today include Loose Women, which is on ITV1 now, but alas I’m at Work so can’t get that on the site just yet, but it will be on the site later 🙂 and they are on TMi Friday tonight on the CBBC Channel between 5.30pm and 6.40pm

‘Our Story’ out now!

Don’t forget to order your copy online or at a local store 🙂 it includes all of the Sats’ personal stories before joining the band, their love interests, the strong friendship they have with each other and it pretty much gives you a look into what their life is like. It also includes fashion and beauty tips, the backstage gossip and all this is accompanied with pictures from their own collection – so really a true Sats fan cannot miss this between their bookshelves at home 😉

The Saturdays recreate The Beatles’ famous zebra crossing moves in sexy new video Higher

Striding along: The Saturdays stroll along a zebra crossing in 'New York' for their new video HigherThe Beatles were one of the most successful groups in history, so it’s no surprise that modern bands to their best to follow in their footsteps.

And now it’s The Saturdays turn, as the girl band decided to recreate The Beatles’ Abbey Road album cover in the video for their new single Higher.

The girls – Frankie Sandford, Mollie King, Una Healy, Rochelle Wiseman and Vanessa White – are seen walking across a zebra crossing in New York, just as the Beatles did in London for their now infamous shot.

While The Saturdays appear to be in New York in the Higher video, they actually flew to Los Angeles to shoot the footage on a film set at Fox Studios.

The girls were seen on the set of the video in the last episode of their ITV2 show The Saturdays: 24/7, and admitted they were loving the novelty of shooting the video in America.

Mollie said: ‘We’re having so much fun in New York. Though actually it’s Los Angeles. We’re at Fox Studios which is so cool because Britney Spears has been here – that’s all that matters! And now we are!

‘There’s a yellow taxi and a school bus, it’s like New York so I feel like Carrie Bradshaw in Sex And The City.’

Higher, the ninth single from The Saturdays, also features Flo Rida, the rapper who has twice beaten the girls to the coveted number one position.

Now the group are hoping that a collaboration with the singer will help them reach the top of the charts.

On their official Twitter page, The Saturdays wrote: ‘Thanks for the lovely #Higher comments, so glad you love it as much as we do! The version with @official_flo will be out soon, stay tuned…’

Sex and The Saturdays: The Secret Behind ‘New York’ Vid!

GORGEOUS girlband The Saturdays go all Sex And The City for their new pop video with a stroll down the streets of New York.

But look carefully, because all is not as it seems.

In fact, the leggy lovelies have headed to sunny LA to use the Fox Studios’ Big Apple set for their video.

We joined the bubbly babes for a sneak peek at the new promo for their latest single Higher, which sees the five girls living it up like Carrie and Co.

“We’re having so much fun in New York,” giggles blonde Mollie King, 23. “Though actually it’s Los Angeles. We’re at Fox Studios which is so cool because Britney Spears has been here – that’s all that matters! And now we are!

“There’s a yellow taxi and a school bus, it’s like New York so I feel like Carrie Bradshaw!”

But bandmate Rochelle Wiseman, 21, has spent a fortune on keeping up with the designer-clad quartet by going on shopping sprees in between shoots.
