No Tour … yet! Announcement ‘soon’.

As you are probably like the rest of us, waiting Tour News, apparently it will be happening but not yet …

Rochelle was at BBC Radio 1 this morning and the tour was brought up:

Rochelle Humes has confirmed that The Saturdays are waiting for Frankie Sandford to return from maternity leave before going on their next tour.

“She would absolutely kill us if we went on tour without her,” she said.

“It’s her favourite thing to do so we’ll all be there together. It’ll be the five of us back in force together on tour.”

The singer confirmed that plans were in place and the band would be announcing dates “very soon”.

Sandford is expecting her first baby with her fiance, the footballer Wayne Bridge.

Humes recently returned to the group after having her first baby, a daughter named Alaia-Mai.

Her husband Marvin Humes, who found fame on The X Factor with JLS, has announced that he will be co-presenting BBC One talent show The Voice.

“I think he’s still very much an X Factor man,” said Rochelle Humes.

“I think it’s just a different career change for him as a presenting role. It came up at a good time.

“He actually spoke to Simon Cowell and the team and told them he was going to do it before he took the job, so all is cool there. It’s just an exciting new job for him.”

Humes also said they would both be returning to host ITV’s This Morning.

“It’s funny because I’m doing a little more presenting and more TV,” she said. “But I’ve actually always done it.

“I did that before The Saturdays so it’s come up as things have got better with us. I’ve just said yes to stuff and we all like to try things on our own now and again.”

Their fourth studio album, Living For the Weekend, was released on 14 October.

“When we’ve been credited we’ve really been involved in the writing and I think that’s important,” she said.

“We’re excited that it’s out now.”

Mollie & Rochelle enjoy Beverly Hills

Looking lovely Rochelle Humes & Mollie King have been spotted walking around the streets of Beverly Hills taking in the culture of the area. You can read the full article in the Daily Mail but I’ve posted a few pictures below.

The Saturdays bandmates Mollie King and Rochelle Wiseman embraced the culture of being in Beverly Hills – hitting up the salon and sipping caffeine fixes and smoothies.

The sassy pair were spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Monday while taking a welcome break from recording at the studio.

After some window shopping in the upscale boutiques of Beverly Hills, the songbirds headed to Beverly Hills Nail Design to have a little girl time and get their nails done.

The Saturdays hit the USA

Sorry for the slow news recently, as most of you know I work at a school and it’s now the summer holiday so I’ve been taking some time out and watching the Olympics and spending time with friends and family. On top of that our girls have been too busy getting married so news hasn’t beeen of the most exciting, but hopefully all this will now change as the girls have flown out to the USA to start their attempt to break the US Market. Although its early days the girls haven’t done much apart from chilling at a pool and hitting some celebrity night spots – but I guess thats how it all starts.

The girls are in LA to continue to film their E! TV series which is filming them in their attempts to break the US. They will no doubt continue to record over in the USA. The exciting times at present is obviously the TV show as well as how the US will be attempted, will they release a new-single there as they do in the UK? Will their US album be the same as the new UK one – due 2013 –  or a UK -Greatest Hits with some of the new songs recorded for the new UK release. I’m sure all will be revealed over the coming months. At least whilst the girls are over in the US there will be a lot of publicity for them as they are photographed going from A to B to C.

Here are a few pictures from the last few days, more can be found in our gallery.

Welcome back Frankie!

@FrankieTheSats is back! 🙂

The Saturdays‘ Frankie Sandford was all smiles as she returned to the spotlight for the first time in almost two months yesterday (2nd November).

The ‘On Your Radar’ star, who has been recovering from an undisclosed illness, was spotted outside TV studios in London.

Wearing a trilby and sunglasses, Frankie smiled when she spotted the photographers.

Her appearance in public came just 24 hours after the rest of The Saturdays turned on London’s Oxford Street Christmas lights.

Mollie, Vanessa, Una and Rochelle performed their new single ‘My Heart Takes Over’ during the annual switch on.

The Saturdays’ new album ‘On Your Radar’ is due to be released on 21st November.
