The girls hit New York Fashion Week

Seems our girls know a few people and managed to bag themselves some front row seats for New York Fashion Week yesterday!

They’ve already made their red carpet debut at the MTV Video Music Awards, performed at an exclusive after-party and begun filming their new reality show for the E! Network during their month in the US.

But The Saturdays have now truly cemented themselves among the Stateside style elite by putting in an appearance at New York Fashion Week.

The five-piece girlband – made up of Mollie King, Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Humes, Una Healy and Vanessa White – looked every inch the fashionistas as they soaked up the sights of the catwalk yesterday (Wednesday).

Having the honour of sitting front row at the Milly by Michelle Smith spring/summer 2013 show, the girls each conveyed their individual style in a collection of super-cute looks.

Mollie, 25, opted for a monochrome leopardprint mini-skirt, which she paired with a black lace detail top, and accentuated her shapely legs with tan pointed heels.

Frankie, 23, followed her pal’s lead in choosing a deep red leather skirt and black mesh detail blouse.

Showing off her sizzling hourglass curves, Vanessa, 22, looked chic and sophisticated in a form-fitting red and black dress.

Meanwhile, Una, 30, and Rochelle, 23, made sure they were colour-coordinated in ensembles featuring splashes of hot pinks.

With Frankie keeping her signature crop short and simple, the other girls opted for tousled waves flowing around their shoulders, while Rochelle pushed the boundaries with a fashionable fishtail plait.

And it would seem the girls, who are relatively unknown in the US, couldn’t contain their excitement at being invited to such a prestigious fashion event.

As Rochelle posted snaps onto her Twitter page, Una tweeted: ‘Just been to the amazing #Milly fashion show in NY! #NYFW.’

After leaving Los Angeles last week, the Ego hitmakers hit New York, where they have undertaken a series of interviews and promotional duties in a bid to crack America.

But it doesn’t look as though they’ll be falling victim to the size zero trend any time soon.

Mollie said: ‘I don’t really know what size zero is. Is it when they look like they’ll snap? That’s really not attractive!’

And Frankie added: ‘Everyone in LA works out all the time and I don’t, I love to eat!’

The band – who are currently joined by Una’s mum and adorable baby daughter Aoife Bell, as well as newlywed Rochelle’s JLS hunk husband Marvin Humes – also admitted they are thrilled their dream of ‘world domination’ is finally coming true.

Mollie said: ‘I’m so excited. Ever since we started, we’ve said we want ‘world domination’, and now it’s happening!’
