The Saturdays play Thurles

Seems @TheSaturdays have another show lined up this summer. This time on Sunday 3rd June at the Thurles Greyhound Track. Tickets went on sale this morning at 9am and you can pick up your tickets via Ticketmaster, tickets are priced at €38.50. There is also a competition to win tickets via the local radio station Spin South West. This is a proper The Saturdays concert by the looks of things, they aren’t playing as part of a festival with lots of other acts. The girls are at present absent from a lot of the summer shows that have been announced, V Festival, Chester Rocks etc. Shows that they have appeared at in the past, and at present are currently headlining other events. Hopefully more will appear as we move into Spring.

It’s all rather quite in the world of @thesaturdays right now. I think we are all assuming this is the calm moments before they unleash their new single onto the (un)suspecting public at large!

Not too much news to report, there have been stories about David calling Mollie at 4am

Plus other stories such as Vanessa to organised Rochelle’s birthday party

Kent Summerball 2012

Seems @TheSaturdays have no plans to stop at all. I expect this will be the first of many this summer. (Hope so!) The girls are confirmed to be at the Kent University’s summer time ball – the ‘interesting’ lineup includes the girls. Tickets are a whopping £53 for non-university goers. Flyer is below. Fingers crossed this means the girls will be hitting more shows this summer!

Please note that the terms of sale include:
8. Guest tickets. Kent Students may bring one non-student guest to the event. Tickets can be purchased by clicking on the Guest Ticket button and following the steps above. Your guest’s ticket will be added to your card along with your ticket. Non students must be accompanied by a Kent Student to gain entry to the Summerball.

Reading that it seems this is purely for those who study in Kent.

Finally we can get to know a little more about this new song and video in the latest flip! Go behind the scenes with the girls on their video shoot by going to their official site! It doesn’t show anything of the actual shoot, just the girls chatting about as they always do – but it gives you a little insight into what they’ve been doing and surely to get you excited for a new song and video!

Remember you don’t have to login to watch the latest flip – eg the last released video – but if you want to watch previous once you’ll need to sign up on their site and then you’ll also receive a weekly mailer with all the latest news and whatnot.
