Top Of The Pops and Frankie!

The Saturdays are an English-Irish girl group based in London, England. Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White.in NBC in NYC

Hey all! The Saturdays are confirmed to be performing on this years annual Christmas Top Of The Pops – the show is 2 hours long this year – and airs at 2pm on BBC1 on Christmas Day. So tune in to catch the girls performing ‘What About Us’ (I’d imagine) whilst you eat some Christmas dinner! Yes this performance WILL include Frankie … welcome back Frankie!

Mollie King of The Saturdays said: “It’s such a legendary show and we watch it every year with our loved ones while celebrating the holidays.”

Her bandmate Frankie Sandford said: “I personally couldn’t be more excited to be back with the other girls for this special performance.”

Talking Frankie, last night she followed us on Twitter, that now means that all five girls are following the site on twitter – which is an honour – so if you have twitter why not follow us too @TheSatsCoUk 🙂 So thank you to Frankie, and the rest of the girls for your support over the years.

Vanessa Stops Partying

Vanessa White

Happy Tuesday all! The week is slowly moving on, it will be the weekend soon, and remember, it’s nearly Christmas! I do accept presents 😉

Anyway some proper news, apparently Vanessa is going to stop partying *shock*

Vanessa told the HELLO magazine: “I’d been partying way too much, not taking care of myself and I felt rubbish. We’re all very honest with one another and we will sit each other down and say, ‘This is getting out of control’.

“If I hadn’t had them, it would have been so easy to have gone off the rails and kept up the partying until it became a problem. You need people around you to say, ‘Right, this is too much now,’ and fortunately, I have that.”

The brunette beauty said she started eating more healthily, reining in the nights out and working with a personal trainer three times a week. Vanessa has now dropped a dress size in five months.

She added: “I have a trainer who gets me running, doing squats, lifting weights, and sometimes I feel like I can’t breathe, it’s so hard.

“Afterwards, though, I feel amazing and it’s great when you start seeing the results. I’m never going to have a small bum, but it’s toned now and that makes me happy.”

The Saturdays kick of Christmas

Hey all! It’s that time of the week again, no not another update, just Monday!

This weekend The Saturdays kicked off Christmas in style as they performed at not just one, but two, Christmas shows. The weekend kicked off in style in Birmingham at the LG Arena, for Free Radio Live 2013, and finished off at the First Direct Arena in Leeds for Radio Aire’s Xmas Live!

We attended the show in Birmingham, the girls (like in Leeds) where on second-to-last and performed 4 songs, All Fired Up, Higher, Disco Love and What About Us. The Free Radio show was really good and also had performances from Little Mix, The Vamps, Union J and headlined by Mr Olly Murs who was excellent as always.

I know a few of you had popped down to Birmingham or Leeds to catch the girls, and I hope you had an as great time as we did! I’ve added a few pictures below of the girls in Birmingham. If you pop over to our Twitter account, or go directly to our Instagram account, I added a few videos of the girls performing in Birmingham there!

Confirmed: Rochelle on Strictly Xmas Special

RochelleHumes

As we reported yesterday, it was confirmed yesterday evening that our very own Rochelle is to appear on the Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing.

She’ll be competing against radio DJ Sara Cox (who’s dancing with pro Robin Windsor), West End legend Elaine Paige (who’s teaming up with Pasha Kovalev), Bros singer Matt Goss (who is partnered with Aliona Vilani), ‘EastEnders’ actor Ricky Norwood (who has got Janette Manrara) and comedian Rufus Hound (who has been given last year’s winner, Flavia Cacace).

The announcement, made on this evening’s edition of BBC Two’s It Takes Two,   also confirmed that Sir   Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly would be back on presenting duties, with judges Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood on hand to give out the scores.

Strictly Come Rochelle, Frankie Returns

Hey all! It’s another happy Monday, right?

We start off with the news over the weekend about Frankie’s imminent return. Obviously there has been a lot of talk about, well everything, to do with the group, from them calling it a day (or not), from more babies, from Rochelle getting sick, and now we have news of Frankie’s return!

If you head over to CapitalFM they have an audio snippet from Vanessa confirming Frankie’s return who is apparently back ‘before Christmas’ the girls play their first of three Christmas Shows this weekend at Free Radio Live in Birmingham so maybe she’s back for these shows? We are live from the event in Birmingham this weekend so keep it here for the latest – yes we do have tickets!

Rochelle is rumoured to be on a Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special, nothing confirmed on that just yet, but just a little rumour that is circulating around the Internet right now. Apparently everything is to be confirmed at 6.30pm this evening. So as soon as we hear anything we will update.

We will also be launching our competition soon to win an official 2014 calendar! More details in the next day or so, just need to tidy up a few things and work out how it can be sent out, as it’s fairly large!

I’m Back!

Hey everyone, no no we’ve not disappeared over the last week, I’ve just unfortunately been unwell, a couple of infections later and a bunch of antibiotics and finally I’m slowly starting to feel like I should again! Normal service will resume shortly, although we’ve not missed too much!

Just a quick message to say that I’m back, and also to post that the people over at TRTE (In Ireland) have kindly posted the whole episode of The Saturdays appearing on their show Music Inc, which you can catch below:

Enjoy and expect full updates to resume shortly 🙂

Parker Bridge, Mollie and David reunite

We start off with the news that seems to be dominating this mornings media (slow news day anyone?) that Mollie and David (Gandy) where sitting next to each other at the Tennis Finals at the o2 Arena, London last night. To me whilst being pretty akward for the pair, is a lot to do about nothing, they where obviously guests from some sort of media/agency thing and they kindly made them sit together for a period of time. Anyway a few pictures below of the pair … The Daily Mail has obviously picked the most ‘interesting’ pictures to make it seem a awful lot worse than it probably was, but thats the media for you!

Obviously the other piece of news is that on yesterday’s Paul O’Grady show a picture of Parker Bridge was shown, this was also instagrammed by Frankie, which I’ve added below too 🙂 Remember you can catch the Saxy performance of Disco Love from Paul O’Grady below, plus the acoustic performance of Anywhere With You.
