Frankie checks into Clinic

We wish her a speedy recovery! Good luck @FrankieTheSats

POP beauty Frankie Sandford has alarmed fans by checking herself into a clinic.
The Saturdays babe was admitted to a centre for ā€œunconfirmed reasonsā€ after disappearing off the party circuit for over a week.

Her spokesman last night confirmed Frankie, 22, had signed into a clinic but said her treatment was nothing to do with drink or drugs and was not for a cosmetic procedure such as a boob or nose job.
Frankie herself admitted she had been poorly after posting a message on Twitter to bandmates Rochelle Wiseman, 22, Una Healy, 30, Mollie King, 24, and Vanessa White, 21.

She wrote over the weekend: ā€œSorry I havenā€™t Tweeted in a while. Iā€™ve not been very well. Miss u. Iā€™ll b back soon x.ā€
It comes after the star missed several group outings, leaving fans wondering if the sexy girl group were on the verge of a split. Last week the band members went to view a new Marie Curie Hospice Centre being built in Solihull, West Mids, but Frankie was forced to pull out.

Then she was also absent from a group visit to their vocal coach Priscilla Jones. Sources have said the singer is being supported by boyfriend and Manchester City footballer Wayne Bridge, 31, but they refused to speculate on the reasons why she has checked in.

Last night fans were sending her their best wishes. One wrote: ā€œFrankie we miss you! The girls donā€™t look the same without you! Please come back!ā€

Frankieā€™s ex-boyfriend, McFly star Dougie Poynter, 23, checked himself into rehab after their relationship ended last November.

Welcome to the New Look!

As you might have noticed we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you this wonderful new look to The Saturdays Fansite. As you can tell its a major change from our previous look, and brings us right up to date and ready to support the girls through the new single, album, tour releases and of course the new member of the group from mum-to-be Una.

Where’s Frankie, Girls?

A non-news item but as every newspaper/media is reporting this I’ll post it up here for everyone to have a laugh at ….

Ms Sandford seems to be MIA.Ā Could she be about to leave The Saturdays?Ā This would be bad news indeed.

Mollie King, Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White and Una Healy all went for some vocal training yesterday.

But Frankie was noticeably absent from the group.

Worringly, it’s not the first time this month that The Saturdays have made an appearance sans their short-haired friend.

Last week, the girls paid a visit to a Marie Curie hospice in Solihull, but Frankie sat it out.

It’s understandably started rumours that all might not be well within the group.

They’ve already reassured fans that they’re not splitting despite Una’s pregnancy, but could they be planning to continue on as a foursome?

It’s like Robbie Williams leaving Take That all over again.Ā Or Geri Halliwell leaving the Spice Girls.Ā Our nerves can’t take it.

Vanessa speaks to Verge Magazine

Here’s a preview of an Interview with @VanessaWhite with Verge Magazine, apparently the full interview is in the next issue of the magazine.

The gorgeous Vanessa White sat down with Vergeā€™s Ryan Duggins to give us all the behind-the-scenes goss on the making of The Sats new album, On Your Radar. Check out the snippet below and catch the full interview in the next issue of Verge Magazineā€¦

The new album sounds great! Itā€™s got a real club vibe. Will you ever get bored of partying?

Erm, well Iā€™m sure I will when I get to like 40. But not right now, no. Iā€™m loving it.Ā On a personal level, I donā€™t really go that much to the big clubs where the paparazzi and the media will be, you know? Iā€™m a local pub kind of girl who likes hanging out with my mates!

How do guys impress you when you are out?

You know what, just make me laugh. Thatā€™s always the key. I think that guys maybe a little bit intimidated, and maybe I am quite an intimidating person without even realising. I can be quite loud and Iā€™m always with a lot of friends so maybe that could be an issue. But itā€™s weird, I have no idea how you would impress me.Ā Ā I just want to have fun really at this age.

Youā€™re the youngest of the group, do the other girls look after you a little bit?

Yeah, I mean, they look after me all the time. Rochelleā€™s got that big Sister quality about her that keeps me in check, which is really good, because I need that sometimes. So itā€™s good she looks out for me.

Youā€™ve been performing since you were young, do you ever feel like youā€™ve missed out on growing up a little bit?

I made a lot of mistakes at the age of 15 or 16ā€¦ I went to theatre school so I guess it was all a bit different because there were only 150 people in the school. But I did go through a rebelling stage at that age, so no. I started doing this when I was 17 so at that point I told myself that I needed to grow up a little bit.Ā d want to go to Uniā€™ actually when I was younger, but to be honest, I wanted to be a singer so I stuck with that. I would have studied either Music or English Literature if I did go though!
